  1. God’s blessings on your exchange year. Don’t forget that your Heavenly Father is with you wherever you go and whatever you do. Look to him for the strength and encouragement that you need. Your Dad pointed me to Psalm 91 on a day that I needed it. I suggest you do the same on the days that are a struggle.

Remember, the hardest things that we achieve in this life are also the ones that we are the most proud of when we look back at them. So, on the hard days, go at them with Christian determination, then look back at them and the blessings that follow when they are over. Even though your family and friends are not with you physically, we are there emotionally and spiritually as we pray for you.

I look forward to reading more about your year as you post more blogs. Take care. Love Uncle Jon.

  2. Thank you! School was nothing like I expected! I didn't have any classes because the lady in charge was gone today to Bangkok! I went to a class with Meow but I didn't understand anything, but I decided that I would not be taking 10th grade classes because they are learning everything that I already learned! I decided that I will take Thai and Thai history and some form of English otherwise I don't know what I will take, but it will be easy because my brain cannot take any more like that first class! Later I will go and sit in on an English computer class! The teacher is really nice, he is from Ohio and has been helping me all day! I will let you all know how things turn out!
